For the first time in the Regional Gallery in Liberec, and for the first time since the late 19th century to such a representative extent, the exhibition will present Czech and Slovak photography from the collections of PPF Group. The core of the exhibition is formed by the works by Josef Sudek and the fundamental names of the Czech avant-garde, such as Jaromír Funke, František Drtikol and Jaroslav Rössler. The exhibition provides an overview of the history of Czech photography, supplemented with works of important Slovak photographers represented in the collection. The examples of contemporary photography included in the exhibition will provide an overview of the tendencies and directions that photography is taking nowadays.
