Slovenian-born Milorad Krstić, settled in Budapest since 1989, works in visual art through painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, scenography, documentary and animated films. He is also the author of picture books and comics for children. He was awarded the Silver Bear Grand Jury Prize at the Berlin International Film Festival in 1995 for his first animated short, My Baby Left Me. His interactive animated film Das Anatomische Theater won the 1999 Mifa Award for Best Interactive Project at Annecy International Animation Film Festival. Another film, this time the feature-length animated film The Collector Ruben Brandt (2018), had its premiere at the Locarno festival and was also shown as part of the Anifilm international competition. And over the years, Milorad Krstić has won many other international awards.
